About the Aerie on Penn Cove

Aerie on Penn Cove is a large Victorian Inn situated a few steps from the beach on Penn Cove Sound. The fine Sound and Mount Baker views from guest rooms, or garden views from other guest rooms are restful to the eye.

This 1889 historic home has been restored and furnished with pieces selected for comfort and utility. The Inn is situated near shops, restaurants, churches, nightlife, ferries to Whidbey Island and Port Townsend, parks, hiking, exploring and other facilities. It is the ideal spot from which to launch one's exploration of Whidbey Island.

Nineteenth century charm and warm hospitality await guests at this gracious old Victorian Inn, once a Parsonage built in 1889. Coupeville, called the City of Sea Captains because of its seafaring settlers, has many stately Victorian homes, quaint wharf and waterfront shops, and the distinctive character of the surrounding Eby’s Landing National Historic Reserve. Tastefully appointed guest rooms offer private baths or private baths across the hall. Anytime Tea may be enjoyed on the covered patio, or the open porches overlooking the well-groomed lawns surrounding the Inn and Carriage House.  Homemade hot fresh breakfasts are served daily at 9:00.

This beautiful 125-year-old Victorian Inn began life as a Parsonage. It has been carefully restored with good attention to detail. Some say it’s one of the most beautiful Victorian homes in the downtown Coupeville historical district. The Aerie on Penn Cove Bed and Breakfast rooms are comfortably   furnished, and appointed with TV’s and WIFI. 

The tasty breakfasts are served in either the Parlor or the covered Patio in warm weather. The Aerie on Penn Cove boasts fireplaces, authentic 1800 fir flooring, private baths, or private baths across the hall, cozy rooms and King or Queen beds. The Parlor is the visual and social focal point of the Aerie Inn, with ample amenities and outstanding water views (A Honeymoon suite is available with fire place and private bath).

The Aerie on Penn Cove Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in downtown Coupeville on Whidbey Island, at the corner of Ninth and Center Streets, one block from shops, restaurants, and galleries on Front Street.  Check in time is from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. Check out by 2:00 PM. You may hold your room with a deposit  check or credit card, full refund cancellations accepted up to 3 days prior to  your selected date.
