Aerie on Penn Cove Testimonials

We had a wonderful stay over the 4th of July weekend. Aerie on Penn Cove is located just blocks away from the charming shopping and dining district of Coupeville. Ralph was a very gracious host. We watched fireworks on the porch together and he even invited a couple passing by to come and join us for a better view, which they did. Breakfasts were tasty and filling. We would recommend Aerie on Penn Cove to anyone looking for great accommodations in this fun town!

The location is absolutely lovely. One block from the water, and sweet town. We enjoyed our stay. The place is immaculate, very tastefully furnished, and sweet. Bed was VERY comfortable, and location is quite peaceful. Just the R & R we were looking for. The bedding on the bed was first class, the bed was very comfortable. Nice sheets make for a luxurious rest! The bath towels generous. We also appreciated that nice touch to provide two robes, since it is a shared bath. The hosts were charming, caring, and attentive. Thank you very much!

Ralph was a perfect host and the house and gardens are beautiful. We felt the tranquility as soon as we walked through the door. Our room was large and had a view of the cove. Ralph served a delicious breakfast that left us satisfied the remainder of he day. I highly recommend Aerie on Penn Cove B & B. A perfect getaway for an Anniversary.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! But, most of all, Ralph is a very kind and welcoming person. He immediately put us at ease and made for a wonderful visit. Fantastic Retreat!

Wow, what a treat! We stumbled onto a rare find when we stayed at "Aerie on Penn Cove". Our experience starts with the host, Ralph whose attention to detail and considerations maximized our stay. The breakfasts were out of this world, each of our three breakfasts were a delightful and different experience. Didn't have to worry about lunch. The house is extremely charming. Our room was well appointed and had great view of the sound. A short one and half block walk to the historic Main Street of Coupeville. Ralph has a masterful blend of anticipating your wants or needs without being intrusive. There are multiple outdoor areas to read, have a beverage or enjoy a meal on the beautiful property. It was a memorable stay and can't wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aerie on Penn Cove and were happy for such reasonable accommodations in a historic B and B. The breakfast was outstanding (and large). The bottle of wine in our room was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. The neighborhood was great and it was only a 2 min walk to downtown Coupeville. We definitely would stay again if we go to Whidbey Is. Thank you for your hospitality Ralph and for your assistance with our business documents.

We had a great visit at the Aerie on Penn Cove B and B. We left Seattle on a whim and decided to stay overnight on Whidbey Island last minute. Ralph got back to me immediately about our stay and we showed up just a few hours after booking. The room was huge, bright, comfortable, and had a great view of the cove. Ralph was welcoming and he served us a huge and delicious hot breakfast the next morning. Everything about our stay was pleasant, clean, and comfortable. Wish we had more time to stay longer!

This is a beautiful place! It's two blocks from the little downtown area of Coupeville with cute shopping and restaurants, as well as the public wharf and beach. It's also a very short drive to the state parks on the island. Ralph was an excellent host who made us feel very welcome. He prepared delicious breakfasts for us and an entire fried chicken dinner on Sunday night. He also told us about various things to do on the island and provided us with a great guidebook. When we checked in, he had a complementary bottle of wine and a cheese and cracker plate for us. Our room was very spacious and well-appointed with a private bathroom. We were frequently able to see deer and various kinds of birds right out the window. The inn is in a historic parsonage with beautiful wood details. We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything was so nice for the amount of money we paid that we could hardly believe it. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone and we'd love to come back ourselves.
